Stock Market Update

Wall Street bounced back with broad-based green across sectors.

  • Dow Jones: +0.48% → 47,311

  • S&P 500: +0.37% → 6,796

  • Nasdaq: +0.65% → 23,499

  • Russell 2000: +1.54% (hello, small caps!)

  • VIX: -5.21% → back to 18.01 — fear cooled off fast

Winners of the Day:
💪 Micron (MU) +8.93% → strong chip demand and storage optimism
🚗 Tesla (TSLA) +4.01% → EV momentum still alive
📱 Meta (META) +1.38%, Intel (INTC) +3.65%, Lucid (LCID) +5.38%, Lululemon (LULU) +4.31%

Underperformers:
🧮 Microsoft (MSFT) -1.39%, Palantir (PLTR) -1.47%, Roblox (RBLX) -1.82%, UNH -0.94%

Market Pulse:
Breadth improved, volatility fell, and investors started rotating into smaller, risk-on names. That’s usually a bullish signal for near-term momentum.

Crypto Update

Crypto found its footing — slowly but surely.

  • Bitcoin (BTC): $103,410 ↓ -0.23% today, but +1.81% on the week

  • Ethereum (ETH): $3,426 ↓ -0.31%, +4.59% weekly

  • Solana (SOL): $162.27 ↑ +0.55%

  • BNB: $955.11 ↑ +0.22%

  • XRP: $2.34 ↓ -0.06%, +6.56% weekly

Traders called today “calm,” which in crypto-land is a small miracle. Stablecoins stayed tight, and ETH outperformed as developers teased a late-year network upgrade.

Vibe check: The market feels like it’s digesting last week’s chaos rather than reversing it. Big wallets are holding; no panic, just patience.

Real Estate Update

Quick Tip (actionable):

  • If you’re shopping REITs, screen for net debt/EBITDA ↓ and laddered maturities—that combo handles refinancing risk best if rates wobble again.

  • In private deals, ask lenders about rate buydowns and SOFR caps—pricing is more competitive than it was 60–90 days ago.

Resource Update

Gold glitters again. Precious metals rallied while energy prices softened.

  • 🪙 Gold: $3,995 ↑ +1.21%

  • 🥈 Silver: $48.26 ↑ +1.78%

  • 💎 Platinum: $1,584 ↑ +1.83%

  • 🔮 Palladium: $1,458 ↑ +1.30%

On the flip side — oil pulled back:

  • WTI Crude: $59.60 ↓ -1.59%

  • Brent: $63.54 ↓ -1.40%

  • Natural Gas: $4.23 ↓ -2.56%

Takeaway:
Metals are acting like a stealth hedge again. Investors are clearly adding protection without bailing on equities. Energy’s decline could also help cool inflation into winter.
