Crypto Update

Mixed-to-soft intraday; still digesting last week’s slide.
Bitcoin ~$101.2K (+0.1% 1h, -2.5% 24h, -6.1% 7d)
Ethereum ~$3,309 (-0.5% 24h, -12.4% 7d)

Watch level: BTC holding the $100K round number remains the near-term line in the sand for sentiment.

Real Estate Update

Hotel REIT beat: Pebblebrook Hotel Trust (PEB) posted Q3 FFO of $0.51/share, topping estimates, with FY FFO guided to $1.50–$1.57 as travel demand stays steady. Revenue came in just shy of forecasts at $398.7M.
Grocery-anchored REIT update: Wheeler Real Estate (WHLR) reported Q3 FFO of $2.0M on $23.8M revenue, noting the usual REIT focus on funds from operations as the key profitability lens.
Why it matters: Fresh prints from lodging and necessity-retail landlords suggest operating cash flow remains resilient even as financing stays expensive. For income hunters, keep an eye on balance sheet flexibility and lease duration—two levers that matter most when rates wobble.
Resource Update

Energy: Soft crude, firmer gas.
WTI $59.4 (-0.3%) • Brent $63.4 (-0.2%)
RBOB gasoline +3.0% • Nat Gas +3.0% • Heating oil +2.6%
Metals: Precious mostly steady to softer.
Gold $3,994.90 (+0.05%) • Silver $48.28 (+0.02%)
Platinum $1,542.50 (-1.1%) • Palladium $1,408.50 (-0.5%)
Read on this mix: Lower crude alongside rising gas/heating oil hints at refined-product and seasonal demand dynamics, while gold hovering near $4,000 signals ongoing hedging demand despite equity weakness.
